The writers insanely overpower Constantine because he's riding an inexplicable wave of popularity. He shouldn't be anywhere near as powerful as they make him out to be.
Hey guys he gave his soul to Satan we are forgetting and Constantine isn't that easy to read, the author just messes it up at this point. The Constantine which blackmails presence trick lucifer more than once won't fall for this, at this point it's just shitty plot armor, as much as I liked the plot so far it's trash when it pulled Constantine into this without realising Constantine is stronger than Batman prep time.
Ok so in one of these comics Batman was seen with his human and (demonic) self agreeing that they need to beat this guy and with john getting straight up played maybe well be seeing Some 200IQ plays from Batman plus you Know Lex is there too so that dosnt hurt. But the thing about that is I genuinly believe that its gonna come down to like the life and death powercores with batman full on Deathbatting put with his demon shit and straight up bitch slapping this clown...just a thought thou
So it appears that John is going to die but hear me out. I think it's a illusion to see if zatanna and the others can be helped. I don't think it's possible to restore the soul so that's probably a bluff. The only way to help them in my opinion is to give them peace after life.
Constantine who tricked many demons, including Trigon, the one who rejected by Heavens. Fell in so stupid obvious trap. I mean everyone hates Constantine because he is really smart tricky bastard. This comics now is idiotic.
Well, Johnny's fucked... big surprise zatanna's still under control. Beyond that we see the soul orb go back into his body as he heals, which shows us the fact that he has a healing factor.
Something that I've thought about is the ways to defeat him and this gave me a thought, complete atomic level eradication. In other words if he got tossed into the sun he would have nothing to heal from basically killing him, which would most likely kill the nightgaunts. Just something to consider.
I had an entire analysis of the newest page wrote only for it to get deleted when the page reset. I can't be bothered writing it out again so in summary. The souls seem conscious so I think that the trick on Harley, Selina and Ivy was fake. Zatanna's phrase reversed is "look at me John Constantine and despair" for anyone who was wondering. I think that the souls are a possibility of hope for the heroes and still unsure about John's chanting though.
So I decided to make an account just for this series... Not much has occured of interest except that Constantine has the same/similar barrier that raven had which could suggest that he has been protected by trigon in return for vanquishing the (still nameless). This could explain why it took him a while to face him. Other than that we see that Constantine's magic is strong enough to cause serious damage as we can see his face deform.
So we can pretty safely assume that for one reason or another, Constantine is somehow going to fail to kill this guy (and will be killed instead. Speaking of, does Batman have any free will or is he entirely under the control of this weird demon guy?). That being said, I really do want this tentacle monster to lose.
The fucker can breathe fire like etrigan, John has alot of mystical tattoos that could enhance his abilities or protect him and his magic seems to be strong enough to hurt the fucker (seriously can we get a name?). Last time he was hurt was against kara, who was supposedly stronger than him at that point.the vulnerability to magic makes me think he has some relation to Krypton. Just a thought though.
Ok... So that black lantern has the power to revert the mind control. Those three seem to be back as we can see the eyes are different,however Kara pulled the same trick on Clark in 5 so it may be a trick. We will see
So...we now know that A: the new gods are actively dealing with earth. B: the humans captured by ivy are turned into demons. C: John seems to be holding a black lantern symbol which looks as if it affects them, wonder how that will turn out.
