Maybe I'm just not into Dragon Ball as much as I used to, but I feel like the Beast form just came out of left field for no reason. Like, what did Gohan even do to gain that form? Almost lose his father figure? Is that the only way Sayans can change forms (besides merging powers together)? It just sounds like lousy writing to me. I was hoping for some special bloodline or something, not "my feelings became too strong for me so I made my body even stronger." That's LITERALLY all it is!
What else would you call two mortals suddenly having the power to destroy the entire planet just by having sex, only to have it restored by some random blue guy
the "Blue Guy" is also a helper of a frickin god of destruction of one of 12 universes (used to be more but we dont talk about that)
