It explains why the "I wish everything was normal" wish wasn't working because normal feels like being a girl. But the same way he wished to be a girl he can just do the same and simple say "I wish I was a boy"

No, the comic explains why that specific wording isn't turning Timmy into a boy again. What OP says is why doesn't Timmy just make another wish specifically asking to be turned again into a boy.

No, look at his wish. It's broken English, but basically he says "I wish we were all the way we should be" and a few pages back he says he "doesn't want to go back anymore". Timmy wants to stay this way because it means he gets to be close to Trixie.
