Feet are usually more sanitary then using hands. You know what shit(sometimes literally) do your hand touch? 
And if you come with "you can wash your hands", thats also correct for feet.

not to mention that most of the time, people will wear socks and floors are often cleaned, but people dont usually wear gloves and walls and other things that you touch with your hands are probably cleaned less
