always go for brutality scrolls, everytime. if you dont have the option, pick the one that gives you the most hp

to progress the story, find where the cave key goes (spoilers, so i wont tell you where it goes)

 

if you did beat THOTK, then you have to use the BC you got to get the next one from him, which is a 1BC run

adding a BC to your runs makes them harder, but gives you more rewards and progresses the story

its a really fucking good game for 20 bucks, one of my absolute favorites, along with hollow knight, subnautica, and RDR2, just to name a few
