This version of Superman appears to be based on the latest iteration known, as BLUE superman,

from the, My Adventures With Superman series.

 

 

The difference between the two version's of Superman is that the common one, or RED Superman,

was growing INTO his abilities, where as the BLUE superman, had to be taught in REVERSE,

on how to contain his already existing power.....just saying about what I see of this supermans' design if at all.
