I think the wait, between each page is gotten it worse on the consumer side, on the artist side it's better, but can make your audience feel like a product, half the +18 artist do that, a great example would be WK00 makes you pay 100, for all the comics that where leaked, still advertising it as "somthing never seen", that can make a great artist fall on the other side, great artist but too greedy on the wait, thous forcing invested reader to pay each month for 1-4 pages, that made it shittyer.
