I know this is my third comment in a row but i yap a lot.
I feel like a lot of the hate for furrys today comes from the stereotypes of furrys being weird. I personally see no reason to dislike furrys but when one person dislikes them everyone else agrees with them and then people dont want to stand out from the norm so they just agree until they are conditioned into thinking they're weird and it's normal to not like them. Im sure theres a name for this but i honestly cant be bothered to search for it. If anyone finds it let me know.
My main problem with the comic specifically on the bad guys movie is the fact nobody knows it was comic series before it became a movie, which pisses me off because it was just straight dumb fun.

I'll help you give some context, in the furry community there is the "furry" and the Anthropomorphic character,There are two differences, between an exaggeratedly colorful wolf and a wolf similar to a normal human being, take BoJack Horseman and the old tales from the 60s with social criticism as an example.
In short, not every character who has normal human characteristics is a furry, There is a series called everywhere you go, a semi-biographical series where it uses animal characteristics for anonymous images.
It's not abput it being the norm and people don't want to stand out. Furries are just weird fucking people and most people are extremely put-off by them and their devient behavior.
That my friend is called a stereotype. Yes some furry's are weird but so are some regular people it's just media often displays furry's as weird and only shows the bad side of the community. Im not saying that you are completely wrong here I mean ive seen the same things you have but my point is there is such thing as a chill furry, infact there are a lot of them who are.
