Sometimes writers associate violence with Psychopathy, she clearly going through it. Its rare to see a person associate violence to cope with trauma... a better example of this is the new joker film. Psychopaths doesn't feel remorse or guilt in their decisions no matter how twisted it its.
Here Luna isn't experiencing Psychopathy just yet, she still thinks of her actions just confused by the trauma she's experienced lending her into violence, if this continues then we get... the Joker.
