anyway, that's my whole opinion about god and religion. i hope this has a positive effect on those who think they can escape the consequences of their current actions just because they pray or repent.
and honestly, i kinda think religion is a sign of weakness. if somebody can't live their life without worrying about offending some "higher power" or at least understanding that it's THEM who controls their own actions, then i can't help hating them slightly. i mean, as a human being, i'm a stubborn son of a bitch, and i would be furious to learn that i was the puppet of some asshole in the sky. i control my actions, and i accept the consequences of those actions. it really feels like a cop out.
honestly, i've never liked religion. most of history's worst points had something to do with religion, and if it never existed, we would be far more advanced than we are now.
if there's a god, they (yes, i said THEY) would have put a stop to this whole thing!
How do you know what god would or wouldn't do, there are many times in the bible god killed or let a lot of people die.
