Frisk the Cat is a 1972 American adult animated black comedy film, widely considered the first ever animated pornographic movie. Fritz the Cat was originally a comic strip created by Robert Crumb about a tabby cat named Fritz, a politically-shallow college student going on many misadventures usually in the pursuit of getting laid. The movie was directed Ralph Bakshi, a known animator for underground cult-classic adult animation across the 70's to 80's. His more famous works were the animated movie for Lord of the Rings, Wizards, American Pop, and briefly worked on the original Spider-Man tv show. Frisk the Cat was Bakshi's debut film.
