I like this but it leaves me wanting more characterization for the guy. He’s stated to be lazy but we don’t see his complicity to the suffering of his fiefdom. I think a potential sequel would do well to show him as a capable ruler who learns to take responsibility for the failures of his family and himself

I need a sequel to this to see if they make it through together at their uncles.
