I really like the concept that the embodiment of death appears differently for everyone based on how one views death itself. It's such an interesting depiction of the grim reaper.

And I really like the references of the author. The silly, cartoony Grim Reaper is from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, the serious, foreboding lich speaks like Death in Discworld and the cute goth girl is Teleute, or the anthropomorphisation of Death in The Sandman. Really cool.

She does seem to have mental issues and has centered a lot of her world view around being Trixie's friend. If the card on her bedside is any idication and her canon crush on Timmy.. I wouldn't be surprised to find out in this comic that Trixie did some similar act of kindness to Veronica.
