The Star Wars Prequels get way to much hate and are almost comparable to the original trilogy overall

heres the thing:
George Lucas had a great vision with Star Wars, but he has always had terrible execution. Even back during the original trilogy, he was a terrible writer. Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill used to make fun of him for it all the time and they had to take turns telling him their lines are terrible. Lucas was a huge nerd, so half of their lines were filled with incomprehensible sci-fi jargon that just made the plot more convoluted. Thankfully his wife and other writers helped simplify his script and we got the original trilogy we know today.
however, the prequels rolled around. the staff was different than the trilogy. Lucas divorced his wife and previous assistant writers did not help on this script, so Lucas had no filter. His unfiltered writing allowed for a bigger Star Wars universe, but again, it made it convoluted and messy. He also poorly managed the Phantom Menace, which caused a lot of stress among the crew (including the child actor for Anakin who actually went insane from the stress). Still, the opened up universe allowed for many other competent writers to take up the reign and add onto it, thus we got the 2D Clone Wars series and the 3D show most people know.

the reason why the sequel trilogy was bad can be chalked up to one single word: China
Disney was in the phase where they try to appeal to the Chinese market since they have the larger population than US. Force Awakens did great, however the Chinese test audience showed they did not like Finn for the simply reason was that he was black. They originally had him planned to be a jedi and love interest for Rey, but they scrapped that midway through Last Jedi due to Chinese reception. This caused rippled effects in the writing where they wanted a big ending like Avengers while the executives kept breathing down their neck and demanding last minute changes.

I agree in the sense that George Lucas can simply not write non-cringy dialogue. Thankfully the German dub carries a lot of the weight. He truly works best, as one Youtuber once said, when he has a team to bounce his ideas around and to limit his nonsense sometimes. I think the sequels are besides its obvious necessity lore wise as central Disney canon not even worth mentioning in any further context as they are neither well made nor fun to watch. Thank you Kathleen Kennedy and Hellspawn JJ Abrams. Here's to Filoni.
Credits where credits are due however to the combined performance of the entire prequel crew for taking up the monumental footsteps that were the original trilogy. Besides Hayden Christensens arguably bad acting, I think the sword fighting scenes in particular show a way in which the prequels have improved upon the original trilogy. Furthermore I think the prequel development was burdened to begin with. It is clear that 3 movies are simply not enough to accurately portray the universe that is Star Wars. This is best portrayed by the notoriously obvious Camino clone plotline (the shows are therefore not supplementary but plain necessary). In this way and many others I do not think that the prequels could be significantly improved simply due to industry standards and expectations of the casual viewer. Another point why I really love the prequels is the, in my opinion, better implemented music and its greater focus on republic politics.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think you are incorrect, in fact I totally agree with you. I just think the prequels have pretty much reached their Zenith with what is possible when combining that specific, huge universe in the given industry.

good call, forgot to mention that. The passion and effort of the actors is what kept the prequel trilogy even HALF of how good it was now. The actors, mostly Christopher Lee since he was an actual knight, trained in fencing to the point were they were moving the lightsabers too fast for the camera to track. They even said "we had to slow down because our speed looked unrealistic". ON THE OTHER HAND, many of the stunt actors for the sequel trilogy said it was a slog working with the main cast. None of the actors refused to train in fencing nor did any of the managers force them too. This lead to actors missing their fight queues even in the final cut, where the stunt actors had no choice but to pretend like they got hit by nothing. if you watch the fight scene after Rey killed Snoke, you'll see what i mean.
Just like with most other American and European medias, corporate mentality and DEI ruined what was suppose to be a passion project of a few enthusiastic individuals.

Who would do the punishment raping? Would they choose people randomly like with jury duty, or would it be a job you had to apply for? What kind of qualifications would a professional rapist need?

Don't get me wrong, rape is a terrible action, but it's nowhere near as bad as straight murder. Sending someone to the great nothingness is worst thing you CAN do

1.Depends what you by rape penalty like they get raped for thier crime? or like they get penalized for rape? on average the death penalty takes like 30 years to be actually enforced if the person isnt proven innocent
2 .Im pretty sure rape is classified as an creul and unusual punishment.
3.Idk that seems like kinda thing a primeval villigage from southern africa would have if they had a low population, not something that would be practical or even remotely safe for anyone involved. It would also be incredibly dehumanizing and unironically evil as fuck to do that en mass.
4. If Rapists Knew the punishment for rape was getting raped they would start killing thier victims so they cant snitch.
