idk if the admins were actually on top of it, or if we just got super lucky (for now), but this site could have easily been a breeding ground for bots. If seen other sites end up having bots that were secretly sharing sites for CP. Luckily this site is small enough and the admins are fairly active, so if you ever see some new account suddenly posting a link of a bunch of gibberish letters and numbers, tell admins ASAP.

the admins are very much on top of keeping the bots out
they have multiple systems checking for strange activity, and for a while there was even a captcha you had to solve before posting
and the times bots have popped up, they were deleted within the hour

theories ive heard from a few of my professors:
social media thrives best when there is the most open communication. If you hold people to a high standard or demeanor and punish those who do not meet said stand with toxic hostility, then you reduce communication. People will refuse to talk because it would be like walking on egg shells. Thus, the site would slowly die because its main purpose has been diminished. This happened to Tumblr when they banned porn, its why BlueSky is losing to Twitter/X, and why Reddit is such a cesspool barely holding on.
The social media site considered to have one of the most wholesome communities is not any typical social media site, it's Pornhub. Pornhub holds little to no standard because everyone is already function off of the lowest expectation of each other: horny degenerates with nobody to fuck them. Therefore, there is little to no social demands. It became very typical for people to use the comment section to seek advice, whether its technical or philosophical. Pornstars realize the benefit in this too and started producing tutorials on Pornhub, ranging from relevant topics such as safe sex and puberty, to doctorates teaching machine learning and theoretical physics. I have seen somewhat similar instances on sites like nhentai.
This site also has the added benefit of being a fairly small community of regulars. The same couple of accounts are always seen everywhere, making it much more close knit than massive communities where people and text disappear like tears in the rain.

tldr- its the opposites effect (eg. wholesome things will have a dark fanbase and vice versa) this being a porn site meaning there's barely no restrictions, so we usually talk about litterly anything, allowing for a much stronger community. plus, it's the same few people all the time, so you get to know people alot more instead a constant rotating door of people

it's cause multporn is a site comprising mostly of comics related to cartoons/tv of recognizable shows (alot of sites have this but multporn's unique cause of the consistent upload schedule along with transparency of the admins)
and they also let you larp in comment sections this might be why it's so popular
