As far as I understand, this feature will only be available to registered users. It is unlikely that it will be available to newly created accounts, and there will likely be limits after creation. The feature is more focused on bad comments (such as clown meat) and other garbage that you don't like.
it would be awesome if you implemented something like instagram where you could long press or double click to see who up and downvoted your comment. of course this would only work if only accounts could up and downvote but it would be pretty cool
Imma be completely honest, I don't think it was the best choice. Like God said, it ruins the flow of the site. If you wanted to see older messages, you went to the last page. Wanted to see newer ones? Stay at the first. Its just... to much like reddit, which is think most of us can agree, is not "cool."
But then again, im a voice of many in this situation, and am probably wrong about a lot of it. 🤷
Ps. I do think it sucks that comments can't be sorted by time going forward. That's an important thing to consider since the first couple of comments sometimes drives what the focus will be
Ngl I've been dreading this coming for a long ass time. No not because I'll be downvoted to oblivion but because upvote/downvote systems always lead to hivemind shit and everyone rushing to become the next comedian to get the precious updoots. Whether this'll be just another whatever feature or actually cripple discussions entirely can only be told as time passes
Side note, i hope you had at least enough forethought to have some sort of throttling against botting, otherwise the those spam accounts are gonna be ten times more obnoxious
As someone who doesn't engage in meaningful banter, this feature just seems redundant. In my opinion, this is unnecessary fluff. I do like the idea of being able to collapse comments though, especially if I can exclusively collapse anonymous user comments.
i genuinely think promoting comments based on upvotes instead of time posted will ruin the flow of the website, especially the forums. i don’t want to be scrolling on an updated forum just to realize the comment got deleted. keep with the time posted organization for now

In the menu, you can find a new section called "Uploads" (we haven't decided on a name yet, so I'd appreciate your suggestions in the comments).
All your comics or image collections will be displayed in this section after a simple moderation.
If your comic is rejected, you will receive a reason for the rejection.
You can upload a new comic either by using the button in the menu itself or in the user's menu.
Each user can view the comics you have uploaded by accessing your profile, similar to bookmarks.
You can upload comics that are already on the site, and later we will add a feature to update comics by users.
Regarding the formatting, I have edited all the comics as needed, and if you have any questions, contact me or Hraft, or ask a question on the forum.
We have not yet completed everything we wanted to do, but we will do our best.
I have checked all the comics that you have uploaded to the site, and I have approved many of them, but not all of them.

2) Uploading any content by you almost without moderation. For the most trusted users, pre-moderation will be completely disabled. By the way, we fixed the loading and now there should be no errors from the site.
3) New site design, we tried to update it and modernize it as much as technically possible, the new site will also have a redesign, but there are no technical limitations.

but imo, because of this site's culture, having a feature where the most disliked comment is sent to the bottom is a bad idea
there's too many people here who're just toxic for the sake of being toxic, which will just lead to abuse
especially since accounts are now approved automatically, so its a lot easier to, for lack of a better word, review bomb someone with a bunch of alts
We can always disable this feature at any time, or improve it, and you're not so toxic at all, you're cute and cuddly. You're just talking to yourself
