I'm gonna go ahead and say both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross
Both games have hell of a replayability, and both of them take multiple days to finish, not counting if you get curious about the endings you get by killing the final bosses earlier tham expected
(also Square Enix make a new Chrono game already, idc if you asspull Lavos from out of existence again just give us a 3rd dose of otherworldly peak)

I wrote it before, but play the fucking Helldivers. I came back to home like a week ago and I wasted last 4 days on grinding the cyberstan into democratic dust. I don't care if i have all of warbonds (I don't, I have like 4 of them), I'm just driving in my tank and shoot bigass enemies with my recoilless rifle when the tank gets destroyed.

console wars were always idiotic but at least there were justifiable reasons for picking one over the other back when it started. now neither console has anything to call it home, they've let all their IPs on other consoles, and they continue to make braindead business decisions that only hurt their customer bases interest in buying their products. The only thing that edges Xbox above PS is that it has Gamepass, but thats by a hair at best. The only way to get your bang for buck these days is to buy games on steam, just for the sheer quality and scope that it offers through user experience and near limitless games. The way modern gaming has all been swallowed up by crummy corporate business practices and a lack of a direction in the new generation is pretty depressing.

If we still limit ourselves to those two consoles playstation would still come up top because of their older exclusives however once we peel back the curtain, we can just emulate those. Even on our phones nowadays reliably (except ps3) so yeah..

Agreed. Also don’t forget that in the current era the console wars don’t have much of a meaning since you can play most of the games they offer on a pc and technology is advancing so rapidly that even a ps4 could be emulated, thus making the war more pointless that it currently is. It meant something back then tho.

I just let Jake (our pet hippo) kinda just do whatever he wants with the game tbh, haven't coded anything in years. The same goes for S&Box, I just said "Make Gmod but gay, and with source 2 engine" and just let our team of chimpanzee's go at it, sometimes they'll call and like ask if what they got is good, and it's pretty much just roman emporer type shit, if it's good, they get a thumbs up and a banana, if it's bad we send them to the gulag with ova
