Made in abyss is my love hate series I love it for these reasons:

The world building is just amazing nothing ever seems out of place

I love the lore of how the abyss has been there for thousands of years and to see what those characters have done to survive or what happened to them is amazing

The characters are great Bondrew is an amazing villain his thirst for knowledge and lack of morals makes him a very interesting

The creatures that they need to fight or talk with are so beautifully designed and work perfectly among each level of the abyss

The art is just the most amazing thing ever the detail behind every stroke is crazy (prolly why one chapter comes out every six months or so)



Now for the bad stuff:

The author is 100% a lolicon 

The author tries to include his fetishes whenever he can and some of his fetishes are pretty damn bad

It takes 6 months for a chapter to release 

I would still totally recommend it just try and avoid chapters labelled as something.1 or something.5 as those are art chapters that don’t have anything to do with the lore and usually include the main cast of characters naked

Well, I'll have to read all of it again. 

I started watching made in abyss and then they kept sexualising EVERYONE. Kept happening. "Oh but that's just like in real life!!!!" Page 24 not being the worst offender of this manga is pretty telling. Couldn't get past the first season if I can recall correctly from how bad it was, because the internet has told me that it gets WORSE. You people use insane mind gymnastics to defend your shitty pile of weeb trash. "No bro, the world building is so good and the sexual parts aren't even that bad" you're all completely delusional if you think bdsm of these characters, the tongue toilet and pages literally just including a character pissing are necessary. I fucking hate 70% of Japanese authors. Go NezHa upload all of the other chapters which get exponentially worse, be no better than Ova. "Um actually Tsukushi’s gratuitous depictions of his [...] protagonists naked and soiling themselves are meant to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed"



Dislike me all you want. I've seen what makes you cheer, your boos mean nothing.

For the record, considering Crunch-roll, is attacking manga and otherwise,

along with people getting caught up in the trend too, there are very few, if any,

decent place's to maintain the choice, if reading the original material anymore.

Before anyone else crys CP i read the thing and the only 2 "bad" panels are where 1. A "cyborg" boy looks Inside his pants and you can see his pelvis lines and 2. A young girl got spanked on her buttcheek for misbehaving (you cant see anything bit her head and the upper part of one of the cheeks)
