Maybe that's what it says in Christian canon, though I can't think of any passage in the bible that addresses the gender of demons, or really any details about them. Demons are a phenomenon that has appeared only in creative works and religious texts. Therefore how their physiology functions is determined entirely by those works. In another comment you mentioned, "Demonology," but unless someone somewhere has captured an actual specimen, and examined them, and determined this to be the case, and documented their findings, you really can't establish a set of objective parameters as to what a demon is and isn't. Therefore, it really doesn't matter if they've been portrayed as male or female or androgynous in other works. Those works aren't this one, this one isn't those works. Ultimately I know you won't care about any of this, because your only purpose in starting this thread was to point at the people watching this video and say "Haha u gay," to derive entertainment from their annoyance. Nah. I believe in intelligent design, there are too many coincidences in the mechanics of our universe for it to just be happenstance, and in general I believe in the Roman Catholic interpretation. Demons however, appear to me as an excuse more than anything. In the bible they're referenced only a few times such as Jesus curing the madman, and this was likely just how they at the time explained mental illness.
Really it's easier for people to believe in an anthropomorphization of evil responsible for every bad thing that happens than to accept that humans are often just "like that," and sometimes shit happens.
